凱特布蘭琪以《她的手》（暫名）贏得今年威尼斯影后，更被外媒看好是明年奧斯卡影后大熱門；究竟她在片中有多麼超高難度的演出？

影視媒體「綜藝報」（Variety）報導，《她的手》在「紐約電影節」首映，映後凱特與觀眾的Q & A，親口談到自己演這部電影的最大挑戰。

據報導，《她的手》是杜撰影片，敘述德國第一位交響樂團女指揮蕾蒂亞塔，如何崛起、如何腐化的過程，片中特別提及她在發現聲望高的自己在失去握力與作曲力之後，竟然投資時間與精神在一位年輕的女大提琴師身上，但兩人的關係仍然因故崩潰…

曾執導2001年西西史派克主演《意外邊緣》的陶德菲爾德，花費多年才寫成劇本大綱，並力邀凱特布蘭琪演出；陶德當眾表示，凱特長期考慮後才同意簽約演出，並要陶德和她一起構思劇本。

過去曾學過鋼琴的凱特布蘭琪為演《她的手》再學彈鋼琴，重新學習指揮的技藝，並為了呈現指揮家肢體動作的柔軟靈活度而去學芭蕾舞。

但外在的訓練還不是最難的，片中凱特布蘭琪演的指揮家不斷被過去的夢魘所「追逐」，凱特布蘭琪必須發明一種全新的表演方式，將自己與角色的經歷活生生的揉捏合為一體，讓自己完全如融入角色中。
